Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Deepslate (the website deepslatenotes.com and the Android, iPhone and Windows apps). By creating an account or using Deepslate you accept them. Please also read the Privacy policy, which explains how your data is handled.
Who we are
Deepslate is developed by Alejandro Sosvilla (Spain).
Contact: support@deepslatenotes.com
Your account
- Deepslate is for people aged 14 and over. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- Give a real email address you can access: we send you codes to confirm it and to reset your password.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Your @username must not impersonate someone else or be offensive.
Your content
Your notes, checklists, drawings and photos are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them, sync them between your devices and show them to the people you choose to share them with. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models.
What is not allowed
Do not use Deepslate, and especially note sharing, to:
- Harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone, or share notes with people who do not want them.
- Send spam, scams, chain messages or unwanted advertising.
- Share illegal content, or content that sexually exploits or endangers children.
- Share hateful content, or content that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Share sexually explicit content with people who have not agreed to receive it.
- Share other people's private information without their permission, or content that infringes copyright or other rights.
- Share malware, phishing links or anything designed to cause harm.
- Attack, overload, scrape or try to break into Deepslate or other people's accounts.
Sharing, blocking and reporting
- When you share a note, the people you choose can see it (and edit it, if you allow it). You are responsible for what you share.
- Block: in a shared note, open the sharing panel, tap ⋮ next to a person and choose Block. They will no longer be able to share notes with you, and the notes you share with each other stop being shared. They are not notified. You can unblock people in Settings → Account → Blocked users.
- Report: in the same menu choose Report, or write to support@deepslatenotes.com. We review reports and may remove content or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
The service
- Deepslate is currently free and has no ads. In the future we may offer a free version with ads and an optional annual subscription that removes them. If we do, we will update these terms and the Privacy policy before it starts and tell you in the app. Subscriptions would be bought and managed through Google Play or the App Store, under their payment and refund rules, and you could cancel at any time from your store account. Ads would never be based on the content of your notes.
- Deepslate is offered "as is". We work to keep it available and your notes safe, but we cannot guarantee that it will always work without interruptions or errors. Keep your own copy of anything important.
- We may change, add or remove features. If we ever stop the service, we will try to give notice so you can copy your notes.
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time: see how to delete your account.
- We may suspend or delete accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Deepslate is not liable for indirect losses or for loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and law
If these terms change, the date at the top will change too, and important changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by Spanish law, without removing the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live.
